My name is Elizabeth Cabellon I’ve been a dental hygienist for 5 1/2 years, earning my Associate of Science degree from Fortis College.
I joined MVP Smiles in March of 2024 and really enjoy being a part of the MVP team.
I love being a pediatric dental hygienist and working with children. It’s important to me that everyone who visits has the best experience possible and they look forward to coming back to see us.
When I’m not working, I enjoy playing video games w my kids, taking my 2 Shih tzu’s out for walks, trying out new gluten free recipes, and working out on my Peloton. 😁

Hi, I’m Sherina! I’ve been in dentistry since 2013. I started as a dental assistant while gaining my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. After falling in love with dentistry, I decided to go to dental hygiene school and graduated in 2019. I joined MVP smiles in April 2024. My goal in dentistry is to make sure everyone has a great experience and learns how to take care of their teeth! In my free time I enjoy traveling and doing anything that involves being active or watching sports.

I am originally from Ecuador and have been a dental assistant for 20 years! I especially enjoy orthodontics and seeing how we can create new smiles!

Making kids enjoy their dental visit is a priority! Whether it’s a 3 year old or a 22 year old I love to see them smile and want them to remember the Dentist office as a fun place! Having fond memories of my visits growing up is what inspires me because I am a former patient! I have been working here now since 2001, so seeing my patients grow up and to be a familiar face to them is so rewarding. In my spare time I love spending time with my husband at the beach, my two teenage boys and two rescue pitts!

I’m originally from The Dominican Republic and raised in New Jersey and now my home is here in Maryland with MVPsmiles.
As a dental assistant, our goal is to make a pleasant environment where our patients feel comfortable and trust us with their dental needs. It is important that kids have a good time at their dental visit and I like encouraging them to be brave. Making their dental visits fun and seeing our patients leave our office happy and smiling because of a good experience makes my day.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, taking long walks with my mom, eating good food and traveling.

I became a dental assistant in 2019 starting in general dentistry but I prefer working now in Pediatrics because I’m a big kid myself. I’m originally from Honduras and came here when I was 6 years old.
Outside of work I love spending time with my daughter and my 3 dogs, I also like to play video games and watch anime.

I was born and raised in Honduras.
In 2016, I moved to Maryland with my mom. I’ve been working at MVP Smiles since January 2024, which has been a wonderful experience.
I enjoy being a dental assistant because I like meeting patients and their families and being part of their long-term dental care as well. Every day is different, which keeps me constantly learning.
In my free time, I enjoy baking, spending time with my family, traveling, and exploring new places.

With a contagious laugh and a heart full of kindness, Amy is one of our amazing dental assistants who specializes in making kids feel at ease in the dental chair. Her goal every day is simple: help kids laugh, smile, and actually enjoy coming to the dentist — no fear, just fun!
When she’s not brightening up our office, Amy is all about living life to the fullest. She’s a total gym-rat, a beach lover, and a dedicated shopper. And don’t get her started on Philly sports — she bleeds green for the Eagles!
Amy brings energy, empathy, and pride to everything she does, and we’re lucky to have her as part of our team.

I was born in Cuba and came here with my family when I was nine. I’m definitely a people person; I love interacting with kids and parents alike and talking about anything from dentistry to hobbies. Working in kids’ dentistry has allowed me to connect with my inner child and enjoy the fun work environment. I always have a joke to tell and a laugh to share.
On my free time I enjoy baking, hanging out with friends and family, and playing with my two dogs, Havana and Brownie. I also love to cuddle with my cats Helena and Cosmo.

Elissha - Director of Operations
I embarked on my journey in pediatric dentistry, starting with a role in administration. My passion for orthodontics led me to pursue and attain state certifications, allowing me to deepen my expertise in the field. Following this, I transitioned into practice management, where I found immense fulfillment in shaping policies and mentoring team members to foster a positive and productive workplace environment.
In 2024, I joined the MVP Smiles family as the Director of Operations. In this role, I have the privilege of leading and managing daily business operations with a focus on fostering growth, profitability, and creating outstanding experiences for our patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring digital marketing, spending quality time with my family and friends, and engaging in activities that enrich my personal and professional life.
Dr. Chen
Dr. Ziwei Chen completed her undergraduate studies at the Johns Hopkins University, and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chen completed her pediatric residency at Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC.
With her extensive hospital dentistry experience and medical knowledge, Dr. Chen aims to provide the highest standards of pediatric dental care for all children, especially those with special healthcare needs. Dr. Chen is also passionate about research and innovation. She is a published author in dental journals, and received the “Resident Recognition Award” by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Chen enjoys baking cakes for special occasions, learning random facts, and spending time with her family.
